Ruth and Ikey Married

Ruth and Ikey were married at Lake Presidential Golf Club. We met them through our good friend Dixie, owner of P. Lawrence Bridal and Formals. Due to Ruth’s crazy schedule of juggling being owner of the MAYA Foundation as well as the founder/CEO of The Monroe School, Dixie planned the large event. Ruth and Ikey have known each other for more than half their lives, dating on and off, before they decided it must be meant to be. The pair’s good friend, Mr. Stevie Wonder, attended the event as well as performed as Ruth walked down the isle. BJ, Ruth’s son, and the other kids at the event provided much entertainment, as well as all the sorority sisters and fraternity brothers. Overall the event was emotional, high energy and a lot of fun to witness and document!
