Lisa and Ken Married at the Decatur House

Lisa and Ken were married at the recently renovated, Decatur House in Washington DC.  They said their vows as little yellow leaves fell from the trees in the courtyard.  Lisa got ready at the Hay-Adams Hotel right around the corner, where hair and makeup artist (and she is a true artist), Jody, did her thing.  Not only did we get to work with a great pair and their amazing family, but some of our favorite vendors as well.  Liza from Studio DBI provided the lovely flowers, helped them with all their personal touches, and coordinated the day.  We really can’t say enough about Liza and her incredible talent.  We loved everything about this classy (with a pinch of quark) event.  From the escort compasses to the craft brew bar from Ken’s favorite watering hole, Pizzeria Paradiso.  This event was truly a honest fusion of Lisa and Ken and what we imagine their life is together.  Anyone who has planned an event will appreciate how much of an accomplishment that is!
