Habitat for Humanity

As most of you may know, I lived in Philadelphia for 8 years.  While I was there I volunteered for Habitat Philadelphia as a build photographer.  I had a blast climbing up ladders, on roof tops and meeting great people.  After being back in Montgomery County Maryland for over a year now, I figured it was time to get back into volunteering for one of my favorite charities.  On Wednesday I had my first date with Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County, MD.  They are working on a remodel in Silver Spring on Hathaway Dr.  This week was National Women’s Build Week.  Some of the ladies from Batala Band, an international all women’s percussion band, helped with the painting.
