Dave and I met in 2001 while perusing an education in photography. We spent two years with an amazing group of photographers who pushed and encouraged each other and professors who pushed and encouraged us. It certainly is an unforgettable time in my life. Dave and Bethany planned a small ceremony and reception at The Inn on Pamlico Sound in Buxton, NC. But this adventurous pair got so much more. Four ferry rides, rain, flooding, and awesome friends and family that braved it all to be witnesses. We can’t say enough great things about The Inn too. If you are in Buxton and not renting a house, this is where you should stay. I could go on and on about this wedding, so before it gets too long I will just let the images say the rest.
I cannot stop looking at these!! I LOVE THEM!!! Thank you both so much for making the crazy trip down to the Outer Banks!!!

These pictures are great! I love how you set the stage for our rainy day wedding, bug spray, umbrellas, and all! Then you captured the love and tenderness that Bethany and Dave have for each other. You also managed to reveal the essence of who they are: people who don’t put on airs, who can laugh at themselves, and who can take what life sends their way and make the best of it.
