We are Paired Images

Really, just two Jess' who met in a log cabin during a job interview a few years back. We dodged the inevitable only to now end up here, building our own company starring us... well actually you, our clients! We LOVE taking photographs! We enjoy photographing weddings, portraits and what ever we can get our cameras on! We also just want to have fun. I think that's what ultimately brought us here, our love for photography and the fun factor. We love what we do and it is translated in our work and our lives. We may share the same name but have far from similar shooting styles. Jessica N is quiet and decisive, she observes and captures great moments and beautiful light. She has been shooting professionally for about 6 years and has her associates degree in photography. Jessica L will help create moments and light that you will remember and laugh about forever. She has been shooting professionally for about 3 years and has her BFA in advertising photography from Rochester Institute of Technology. We are based in the Maryland, Virginia, Philadelphia and Washington ,DC areas but are available for destination weddings as well.

Erin and Darick Engaged!

Let me just start off by saying, Erin and Darick are, awesome!  Especially since Erin shares my sarcastic sense of humor.  They also endured 95 degree weather as we walked around Georgetown for hours to make these images.  Erin was referred to us by one of our favorite stylists, Barbara Kirby.  We then learned we had numerous other friends in common and had even photographed a friend’s wedding last year.  So it seemed that our working together was kismet.  Can’t believe we have to wait 399 days till the wedding.

This image makes it seem that Erin is the only one cheesing, but don’t be fooled.

Rebecca and Roberto Married

Rebecca and Roberto met in Italy 12 years ago while Rebecca was studying abroad.  When it was time for her to return to the States she left Roberto and their romance behind.  10 years later they reconnected and rekindled that romance and two years later were married at Holy Rosary Church on 3rd St. in NW DC.  Half the guests had flown in from Milan Italy and the other half from upstate NY.  Half didn’t speak Italian and the other half spoke very little English.  Jess and I had a blast using sign and body language during the family portrait session.  All 50 guests that attended this wedding had a great sense of humor that echoed through The Morrison House in Alexandria, VA.  We were so impressed with Rebecca’s planning skills, she incorporated thoughtful details within a very elegant event.  She also chose amazing vendors that we completely fell in love with.  The priest at Holy Rosary, String Poets and their beautiful music (they played for 5 hours!), and The Morrison House with its friendly and flexible staff, great food and amazing service.

Meghan and Pedro Married

I instantly clicked with Meghan and Pedro and wanted to know more about them.  Their relationship has a sophistication that only comes from helping each other through tough life situations.  But despite these tough times, this pair knows how to laugh often, be silly and have a great time.  It helps that they are surrounded by amazing families who’s smiles and hearts are big and who’s embraces are long and honest.  The ceremony was held at Saint Patrick’s Church in DC and then we went to Newton White Mansion for fun formals, heartfelt speeches and great food.  Thanks to Amber, my second photographer and companion for the day.  Enjoy!

Tyler and Luke

Tyler and Luke were married at the Lansdowne Resort in Leesburg, VA.  We were recommended to the pair by our favorite florist, Colleen Reed, of Divine Designs.  Tyler and Luke were so much fun as well as their 20 bridesmaids and groomsmen.  I know I probably went a little overboard posting images of Tyler, but I just couldn’t help myself.  She literally never took a bad photo even through the extreme heat we had in June.

Latos’s Art Opening at Chloe’s Coffee

Monday night I had my art opening at Chloe’s Coffee in the Kentalnds.  It was great to see everyone who came out! Thanks so much! The show will be up all month if you missed the opening. They are worth seeing all big on metallic paper if I do say so myself. Here is one of my favorites from the show. I will be putting the rest up on our facebook page for you to check out too.

Laura and Greg Married

We couldn’t wait for Laura and Greg’s wedding at Musket Ridge in Myersville, MD.  Our first meeting with them we found it hard to say good bye and during their engagement session we had a blast.  It is rare to find a couple that will forget about the cameras and snuggle up to each other like they have been waiting their whole life for the other.  The wedding (and Laura) were gorgeous and the 95 degree temperature didn’t stop anyone from witnessing the ceremony.  It also didn’t stop me from dragging Greg around the golf course for some awesome photo ops and I have to give him props for smiling the entire time.  Since I already picked too many photos for a blog post check out the crazy reception dance photos on our facebook fan page!

Tracy and Alex Engaged

We met Tracy and Alex last Wednesday evening at the Washington Monument.  The heat had lifted for the day and the sky was awesome.  Alex is a Marine, so we had some fun in his dress blues.  We had a great time with this pair and used way too much flair (we just couldn’t help ourselves, the light was so beautiful).  So disappointed we can’t be there for the wedding, we know it’ll be a blast.

A Whole Lotta Love

I recently visited our friend and amazing graphic designer, Jessie, owner of Ninety Degrees North Design.  She was able to pull the whole family together for a photo, her parents, her brother and his wife, and her husband along with their four kids, who are all under the age of 6.  I had a blast spending the morning with this youthful, energetic family.  There were so many hugs and kisses and silliness that it was hard to narrow the photos down to just these few.

Tiffany and Drew

It was so hard narrowing down images for the blog for Tiffany and Drew’s wedding.  We instantly liked the pair when we met with them, but fell in love with them through Tiffany’s facebook posts, which were mostly hilarious.  We can’t resist a couple with a great sense of humor.  Everything took place at the beautiful Celebrations at the Bay in Pasadena, MD.  Outdoor ceremony by the water, dock for photo ops, ballroom with a view of the bay, and great food… what more could a photographer ask for?  Not to mention, an awesome couple with amazing friends and family carrying the most DSLR’s we’ve ever seen in one room.  One of their friends even volunteered to do video and we were so impressed with his rig, that we had to post a photo of it.  Thanks to Vickie and Andrew for recommending us!

Nicole and Brandin

I am so happy that I could be a part of this day. Notargiacomo, Lauren and I photographed my cousin Nicole and her now husband Brandin’s wedding. The wedding and reception took place at Belmont Country Club. If you have not been there let me just tell you, there is a huge claw foot bathtub in the area where the girls get ready (pictured below).  Now, we photographed everyone in the bathtub that we possible could but when the flower girls got in they kind of stole the show.  It was such a great party and so much fun to see all the family! We even got to work with DJ, Fela Reynolds aka DJ Red Clay again!
