Tracy and Amit Married Part I

Posted in Weddings

These blog posts just keep getting longer and longer, but we promise its worth it!  I dropped Latos off at The Fairfax at Embassy Row to photograph the girls getting ready, then headed to the pair’s apartment to photograph the guys playing video games.  Tracy and Amit were then married at the Dahlgren Chapel on the Georgetown University campus.  After the ceremony and family portraits, I headed back to The Fairfax to take details of the reception room, while Latos took the pair to Cady’s Alley (where they shared their first kiss years ago) to take more photos.  The ballroom was amazing and Jeff Furmas from My Deejay, kept the party going.  As a surprise to Amit, Tracy had the planners hand out glow sticks during the cake cutting.  And then the electronic music (Amit’s favorite) began.  Rebecca from Blue Canary events did a wonderful job with the planning and execution of the event giving room for Tracy and Amit to be together, be themselves and be in love.  Stay tuned for part II…
