Kara and Brody were married at the Comus Inn at Sugarloaf Mountain in Dickerson MD.  It was a cold rainy day, as so many of our wedding have been this fall, but the inn, the staff and guests made it feel like a warm, cosy event.  The pair live in Colorado, but decided to tie the knot near where Kara grew up, and of course, we are glad they did!  I could write about how beautiful Kara looked or how Brody never stops laughing or the heart warming ceremony, but the thing to talk about was the party.  After an amazing toast from the best man, DJ Red Clay from Efkar Entertainment played the most recent hits (per the bride and groom’s request) to a very lively dance floor all night.  They were even reluctant to stop for the cake cutting.  In nine years it was a first for me to hear the wedding crowd ‘boo’ as cake cutting time was called.  But ultimately those cupcakes were too hard to pass up.
