When Julie called me to ask me if I would photograph her and Paul’s wedding it ended in “of course” and both of us yelling YAY excitedly over the phone to each other. Julie and Paul’s story is one of friendship, love and hurdling obstacle’s like track stars. They were married at Julie’s parents home in Ashland, VA where Paul proposed. You see that porch right there… yup that’s where she said Yes! Dad heard somewhere that if you bury a bottle of whiskey that it will keep the rain away and it worked!  The day was just filled with laughter, Julie’s is infectious and Paul kept her laughing. For the record, Paul’s photo with the girls was planned by him. From the ceremony we all traveled to the Richmond Marriott West where we partied the night away, literary… I think I went to bed at 2 am.
