Really, just two Jess' who met in a log cabin during a job interview a few years back. We dodged the inevitable only to now end up here, building our own company starring us... well actually you, our clients! We LOVE taking photographs! We enjoy photographing weddings, portraits and what ever we can get our cameras on! We also just want to have fun. I think that's what ultimately brought us here, our love for photography and the fun factor. We love what we do and it is translated in our work and our lives. We may share the same name but have far from similar shooting styles. Jessica N is quiet and decisive, she observes and captures great moments and beautiful light. She has been shooting professionally for about 6 years and has her associates degree in photography. Jessica L will help create moments and light that you will remember and laugh about forever. She has been shooting professionally for about 3 years and has her BFA in advertising photography from Rochester Institute of Technology. We are based in the Maryland, Virginia, Philadelphia and Washington ,DC areas but are available for destination weddings as well.

My good friend and fellow photographer, Erin, got in touch with me when her sister Aly started planning her wedding. Latos and I traveled up to Chambersburg, PA for Aly and Bryan’s wedding. The day started off a little rocky, with things not going as planned, but all of the drama melted away and was replaced with happy tears when Aly opened a gift from Bryan just before the ceremony. After the ceremony we went to Aly’s parent’s house for some fun photos with the wedding party. And then off to the Chambersburg Country Club for a lively reception.
We have a new business neighbor on Main St. We met Tom outside of his new store front, gave him a business card and got a call a few days later for a family session. We photographed him and his family at their home. The boys were great subjects and shared their passion for music and sports with us.
Alyssa’s actual Bat Mitzvah took place during the blizzard of 2010. The ceremony went on despite the snow, but her party had to be postponed. This time it was a hot day with threatening rain and a beach theme. The rain stayed away and Alyssa finally had her party!

Deby and Joe were married at the Historic Milton Ridge in Clarksburg, MD. The bride was one of Latos’ best friends, so she put on a blue dress and was co-maid of honor. Since Latos was with out a camera for the day, Lauren (new to the Paired Images family) helped me photograph the wedding. Deby’s dad gave us lots of sweet moments to photograph and I must say, the hunting bows were a first for me. We had a blast at the reception with our favorite DJ, Fela Reynolds aka DJ Red Clay.

We have photographed numerous real estate listing for The Lemieux Team, a husband and wife Realtor team that specializes in residential properties in Montgomery County Maryland. But this particular listing got the artistic side of us very excited and we had to blog about it. This older, very unique house is located in Darnstown, MD. These photos are just a glimpse of this beautiful home and the land that it’s on. I would love to photograph its current owners and learn their story. If you have fallen in love with this house feel free to click on the link above and contact the Lemieux’s!

“The Monroe School is a private day school committed to fostering academic excellence in students challenged by language-based learning difficulties” located in North East DC. Last week they had their first ever senior prom. It took place on the Odyssey in the National Harbor. It is a new school with very few students, but they had enough energy and excitement for a room of 300! They also used this as a celebration for their upcoming graduation.

Potomac, MD has beautiful homes and well manicured lawns perfect for photographing Laura’s three children. The only thing we didn’t account for were the bugs and there were lots of them. So much so that they chased us inside even after applying bug spray numerous times. All three were so patient with Jess and I during the outside session, but grateful to move inside and find some window light.

We just started working with Sunset Crest Manor, a new wedding and event venue in Chantilly, VA. Their 82 acres boast a house, an event barn, beautiful fields, and numerous botanicals. We can’t wait to photograph a bride and groom here!

We had the rare opportunity to photograph Dave, Erin, Seth and Remy, on and inside of the U.S. Capitol. Seth kept things interesting while Remy looked all blue eyed and cute. While in the Rotunda we took Dave and Erin aside for some photos without the kids.
